Lost Coral Drawings

I erase and redraw the transient yet eternal qualities of dead coral, remembering the sense of wonder I feel in the presence of living coral. Both the coral and the chance to experience this sense of wonder are passing into history. The drawing represents the 'still life' of the piece of coral at this moment in time.
